Package Containers, Inc. (PCI) is a privately held manufacturing company founded in 1947. From its inception – even before sustainability was valued – all our products are manufactured using paper. Reducing waste, designing products that use less material, and finding ways to recycle are all worthwhile efforts to incrementally reduce the negative impacts of an otherwise harmful product. But, at Package Containers, we start with a different premise. We believe it’s better to avoid the challenge of trying to figure out how to reduce waste of a harmful material and simply use raw materials that don’t have to get into the waste stream. That’s why our bags and twist ties are made using paper, not plastic. Because of this, we don’t have to concern ourselves with reducing the use of harmful raw materials, we don’t use them. Our products are ideal for agriculture, grocery, restaurant, bakery, and wine markets.
