Istoria, a member of Design Hotels, is located on Perivolos beach, in Santorini, Greece. It is inspired by storytelling, deriving its name from the Greek word ‘ιστορία’ which means story. Istoria opened in 2018, featuring 12 suites, each with a name in a different language, which translates to the word ‘story’. It is home to Mr. E Restaurant, led by celebrated Chef Alexandros Tsiotinis, that serves modern Mediterranean-Greek cuisine created by fresh, seasonal ingredients and seafood garnered from the Aegean sea. Made for the beach-lovers, within just a few months of operation, Istoria was characterized by “The Telegraph” magazine as the most instagrammable hotel in Santorini.
