The Nyack Boat Club's purpose is to encourage and support yachting and yacht racing on the Hudson River and surrounding waters, good seamanship and navigation, and to provide for the recreation and enjoyment of its members. The Nyack Boat Club was formed in 1909 by a group of boating enthusiasts to support recreational boating on the majestic Hudson. Set on a beautiful 2 1/2 acre site, the club is equidistant between the Tappan Zee Bridge and lovely Hook Mountain, on the west shore of the river.
