The Environmental & Water Technology Centre of Innovation (EWTCOI) was set up in October 2006 as a strategic collaboration between SPRING Singapore (SPRING) (now known as Enterprise Singapore) and Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP). Its mission is to partner strategic industry sectors in applied R&D and consultancy projects to translate ideas into practical solutions or innovations for a sustainable environment. EWTCOI serves to bridge a gap in the industry where companies who seek practical and market-driven technology solutions can tap on the Centre’s expertise and resources in four focus areas namely Water, Sustainable Materials, Energy Efficiency and Membrane Technology. The EWTCOI team has multi-disciplinary capabilities ranging from environmental & water engineering, chemical engineering, molecular microbiology, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronic engineering, material science engineering and chemistry.
