Little is known about the consequences and the impact of these disorders, such as anosmia. Our association aims to inform people with a smell and / or taste disorder as expertly and broadly as possible about the cause of the disorder as well as about the influence on a person's life, possible treatment methods and medical developments. Our board currently consists of five people. Goals of the patient association: - Being a reliable source of information in the area of smell and / or taste disorders. - Giving people with a sense of smell and / or taste the opportunity to share experiences with each other so that they feel more connected and find recognition together (e.g. events that we're organising in the Netherlands & online via https://nl-nl.facebook.com/Anosmievereniging) - Our association is committed to more recognition for smell and / or taste disorders, better guidance in care and more research into these disorders.
