VDM's work across several media is based on uniqueness. Each subject is unique. Each client is unique. Each story is unique. VDM strives to find the right way forward for each project - whether it be short form video for an organization, social media content, or longer documentary films. Owner Maria Luisa Gambale is a director, cinematographer and producer with 25 years experience. With a strong history in documentary production all over the world - ranging from independent projects to broadcast - she is also experienced in print journalism, oral history and the art world, as well as radio production. She is an experienced educator and is currently an Adjunct Professor in Documentary Production at SUNY Purchase.
