Access to Justice for the Underserved Behind Bars We work with pro bono lawyers, law clinic students and paralegals to provide free legal representation and legal awareness services to indigent women awaiting trial, people with special needs behind bars and generally indigent inmates. Welfare, Reformatory and Re-intergrative Interventions We mobilize people to show compassion to men and women behind bars through donations, outreaches and empowerment programs. We equip inmates with life, and entrepreneurial skills to prepare them for life after prison to reduce recidivism. Death Penalty Project We place a high premium on life and find it pertinent to commit a specific aspect of our work to representing people facing death penalty charges. We also find innovative ways to build the capacity of capital defense lawyers. Advocacy We work to ensure that the human rights of people living behind bars are upheld in line with the UN Minimum standards on the treatment of prisoners.
