Greater Milan Area Community Foundation
www.gmacf.orgThe Greater Milan Area Community Foundation (GMACF) directly impacts the cultural, economic, educational, and environmental quality of life in the Milan, Michigan area. Through endowment funds managed by GMACF in partnership with the Community Foundation of Monroe County, the Foundation is able to support organizations such as the Historical Society, Aid in Milan, and the Library. Additionally, we award as much as $50,000 a year in scholarships and grants to programs such as meal delivery for seniors, life-saving defibrillators for the city police, breakfast for underprivileged youngsters struggling with math, funding for the burgeoning high school robotics program, and a project to clear local waterways for canoeing, to name a few. We do all these things with income earned from investments made up of both small and large cash donations, stock donations, donated insurance policies and real estate, corporate sponsorships, matching gifts from donor employers, proceeds from our annual gala, memorial gifts in lieu of flowers, and bequeathed legacy gifts from donors like you. Your contributions help us to do big things for a little community. For Good. For Ever.
