Ground Engineering (Pty) Ltd is a Level 1 BBBEE Geotechnical contractor based out of Johannesburg that has serviced the South African geotechnical market with distinction for over 50 years. The company’s major focus is on Piling, Grouting, Lateral Support and Renewable energy foundations with a small division involved in Geotechnical Investigations to assist Consulting Engineers and Clients in project planning. Formed in 1970 by Dr Ross Parry Davis, then Ground Engineering and Piling Limited was purchased by LTA, the construction division of Aveng in 1975. In 2020 Ground Engineering was purchased from Aveng Group and established itself under Ground Engineering (Pty) Ltd as privately owned entity. For the past 50 years we have executing some of the largest and most challenging projects in South African history has proved themselves to be at the forefront of technology, quality and safety in all spheres of Foundation works and improvement.
