A great variety of groups will enjoy gathering at The Woods: high school and college groups, corporate board meetings, leadership training groups, church groups, yoga or meditation retreats, men’s and/or women’s retreats, art, craft, dance and music workshops, bird watchers, artists or writers retreats, family reunions…these and many more will find The Woods well able to supply all the creature comforts and more. Whether meeting in our comfortable indoor meeting rooms, or among the trees at one of several outdoor meeting spaces, groups will have the experience of being away from the ordinary routine and into the natural world, while feeling well-cared for and with all the conveniences of home. Any group may be a working retreat, but in the breaks can enjoy the hiking trails, the campfire at night, or watching the stars in the clear night sky. We can prepare excellent, healthy and delicious food to any specification, or allow our guests to utilize our well-equipped kitchen to prepare their own food, and experience the fellowship and camaraderie that comes with working together in the kitchen. Our mission is to provide a safe, fun, and relaxing yet inspiring retreat environment where participants can get the most out of their experience, get close to nature, and truly kick back and feel at home, and to work with our guests to ensure their gathering is a great success, and that they leave with a feeling of having been well-cared-for and with a desire to return.
