Carolina School of Broadcasting provides students with a broad based curriculum delivered in a hands-on paradigm. The school provides the broadcast and digital media fields with "field-ready" broadcast employees who are cross-trained and prepared to meet the demands of a continually evolving industry. The Core Instructor list and Program Advisory Committee feature the brightest and strongest broadcast professionals and leaders from Charlotte, NC- the nations 22nd largest broadcast market. Carolina School of Broadcasting students produce community affairs programs for local radio stations, produce a news magazine type show for WSOC-TV (ABC); they shoot footage for live concerts & radio station promotions, assist with productions for the Charlotte Hornets, Carolina Panthers, Charlotte Knights, ESPN, Charlotte Checkers, and Naka Productions, and are assigned production duties with local news affiliates, cable stations, WTVI (PBS), and the Government Channel. Students perform live on the school's radio station, write & produce digital audio and are trained on Adobe Creative Suite production tools. Carolina School of Broadcasting is a vocational training school licensed by the North Carolina Department of Community Colleges, accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), approved by the NC State Approving Agency, The V.A. and the United States Department of Education.
