N4ED - Nutrition 4 Education & Development
www.n4ed.orgN4ED enhances children’s physical and cognitive development through proper nutrition allowing them to reach their full potential to learn and thrive! Vision: Nutrition is a smart investment as it breaks the cycle of poverty. Hence we want to trigger a self-sustainable cycle in each community we target Mission: Improve infants’ nutrition in the first 1000 days, from mother’s womb to the age of two, in order to make sure that children have a normal development and reach their full potential as students and future generations. Values: Avoid direct aid Act preventively Work with communities We focus on neglected, low-income, peripheral urban populations: The objective through our work is to address uncommon complex poverty settings. These communities rarely draw attention because they are hidden behind "encouraging" urban statistics. However, when surveys look more closely, the inequality in the urban area is greater than anywhere else and the communities with the lowest incomes live in conditions that are sometimes worse than what can be seen in rural areas.
