Ninety Eight Wedding Co. is a New York City based boutique studio specializing in modern and artistic Wedding Photography, and I am Guilherme. Not the easiest name to pronounce (I know!). That's the Portuguese version of William, but you can call me Gui (Gee). That's how my friends and family call me. I found my passion for art while growing up surrounded by horses in a small town in Brazil. The shapes, textures, and colors always have been inspiring to me. I've always wanted to recreate them, but was never really able to. Honestly, my painting/drawing skills were and still are terrible, and that's when photography came up in my life. I felt I was able then, to portrait, create and recreate what I was seeing. I find beauty in the simplicity. Though my eye was trained through fashion and lifestyle photography, I always approach weddings with the same simple and elegant aesthetic by capturing the essence of two people coming together. My main focus is to construct effortless and concise narratives of your beautiful day with you and your loved one, then truly treat each piece as a work of art.
