Shellnutt Professional Accountants (Bill Shellnutt & Associates Ltd.) was founded in 1973 by Bill Shellnutt CMA. Shellnutt started out providing professional accounting services to gasoline and automotive retailers throughout Atlantic Canada through his E.K. Williams & Co. franchise. As the automotive sector changed, so too did Shellnutt's client base. During the 15 years, the company has expanded its services to provide useful accounting services to a wide variety of small and medium sized businesses throughout Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. In March 2012, the company's founder passed away and the business transferred to Bill's son Mike. Mike is a Certified General Accountant and continues to work with the team built by his father providing professional accounting services.
