Touring Exhibitions was formed in the fall of 2008, by Universal Music, Park & Resorts Scandinavia, Synergera Rättighetsförvaltning; and Eventum Exhibitions, with roots from Live Nation. Touring Exhibitions acquired the rights, not only to an ABBA museum in Sweden, but also rights to establish a touring ABBA exhibition, what has now become ABBAWORLD, from Universal Music. In the spring of 2009, an investment group, led by John Wattin and Eva Redhe Ridderstad took part ownership of Touring Exhibitions.
