Founded in 1985 by Raúl Gayá Benejam, JR Technical was founded in order to partner with Metcalf and Eddy in the rehabilitation of the island wide wastewater system, at that time under court order. However, JR Technical is a continuation of the Gaya tradition of approaching the island’s infrastructure with novel and innovative technologies. As such, JR Technical has developed and been involved in novel hazardous wastes, water and waster design and environmental compliance, innovative transportation projects, and innovative fast track techniques, alternative energy projects.
