The Mission of the Universal City North Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is to be the organization of choice which advocates for business and economic opportunity throughout the Greater North Hollywood and Universal city region while developing and providing the leadership to maintain a strong, healthy, and prosperous community. The NoHo Arts District is California's largest theatre district with more than 22 theatres producing adventuressome, new works and classics. NoHo theatres are known for their quality productions, regularly featuring actors who have starred on Broadway, on TV and in feature films. Many on NoHo theatres have won LA Stage Alliance Oviation Awards and LA Drama Critica Awards. The Academy of Television Arts and Science is one of our members, as is the Art Institute of California. Health and Wellness of our community is very important to our Chamber. For the second year we will be conducting a community health fair, Fit for Business Fit for Life on Oct. 6 at Roy Romer Middle School in North Hollywood. Sponsors are currently being recruited for this Sunday event from 11 to 4 p.m..
