Quality improvement and cost savings are of great importance in healthcare. Both can be realized with the help of artificial intelligence and automation. Urgent interventions are needed to improve transparency and efficiency for both consumers, general practitioners and medical specialists. The lack of objective criteria for referral, diagnostics and treatment lead to undesired variation in medical practice; the lack of a uniform process results in inefficiency and unnecessary expenses as well as a suboptimal exchange of information. Quin want to fill this gap by providing an AI digital platform that provides comprehensive personalized medical insight to consumers and GP’s, from symptoms and medical complaints to (differential) diagnosis and indication of the medical condition. By combining digital patient data with automated health monitoring and diagnosis technology and linking it directly to the consumer’s GP, Quin ultimately aims to improve general health awareness, reduce unnecessary doctors’ visits, improve overall diagnosis accuracy and thereby cut healthcare costs.
