Danish-born Jens Høvsgaard has a wide background in television and print. In 2006 he was nominated for the most prestigious journalism prize in Denmark, the Cavling Award (Cavlingprisen) for an alarming undercover account of international prostitution rings and human trafficking. In 2009 Høvsgaard published his first fictional novel, Dead Princesses Don't Dream and in 2009 he was honored with the HopeNow Award.
