Dharma Running is a collaborative coaching model that integrates elements of mindfulness practice with your natural running ability in order to help you run healthier, longer, and hopefully faster (some things cannot be guaranteed!). In addition to traditional coaching, we will teach you ways to cultivate mindfulness before and during your runs, so that you can benefit from the natural benefits of being more mindful, both while running and throughout your daily life. These benefits can include: * Heightened awareness of your body, leading to fewer injuries * Resilience in the face of adversity - the will to keep running when you don't want to * Presence of mind in challenging situations both on the run and all day long * Stronger feelings of compassion and kindness toward yourself and others Eric Wilden, M.Div., is a Road Runners Club of America certified coach, and is excited to work with you to help you become a more mindful runner and achieve your fitness goals.
