The Steel Supply Company was founded as a specialty warehouse to supply ground and polished precision shafting. Today we are an international distributor operating from two locations. Our warehouse in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, stocks 4,000 individual sizes and grades of steel tubing and steel shafting. Our in-house machine shop produces hydraulic rods and piston rods and cylinder barrels and is equipped for most types of general machining as well. Our second location, in Fox Lake, Illinois, is a complete source of chrome-plated shafting and tubing for the hydraulic industry and fills quantity orders at mill prices. Our manufacturing innovations and technical procedures are recognized by registered trademarks such as Electreat 50™, #2 Chrome Piston Steel™, and Hi-Yield™ Precision Shafting.
