GMR Planet of Hospitality is a major and fast-developing company in the restaurant business of Russia and CIS countries. The Company has also succeeded in such business directions as distribution of food & consumer goods as well as realty. In 1997, GMR Planet of Hospitality started mastering the Russian restaurant market, the scope and strategic opportunities of which had attracted the owners. The fundamental decision was to operate under franchise and bring a world-renowned brand Sbarro to the Russian market. In 2006, the Company received from its franchisor Sbarro Holdings (USA) a right to develop Sbarro brands in the Central & Eastern Europe and several West-European countries. Successful experience in developing of restaurant chains allowed GMR Planet of Hospitality to enlarge its brand portfolio and to start its own concepts in 2002: Vostochny Bazar (Middle Easten cuisine) and Bash-na-Bash (Babylonian cuisine). In 2005, the Company brought another restaurant brand to the market – Viaggio Italiano (Italian "home-style" food). In 2010, GMR Planet of Hospitality launched new coffee brand COFFEE100. Nowadays, the Company operates a network of 172 restaurants in more than 30 cities of 3 countries: Russia, Moldova and Czech Republic.
