Astra Commercial launched its first supermarket (Astra Markets) in Tabuk in 1975. In 1979, a second retail outlet was launched and in 1983, the brand expanded to offer Tabuk’s first automatic bakery (Astra Bakery). Over more than four decades Astra Commercial has shown its commitment to the Kingdom at large and Tabuk in specific through expansion, both vertically and horizontally, and through positioning itself as a leader in the Kingdom’s northern region, when it comes to FMCG retail, production, importation and distribution.
