We have a bold opportunity to grow science literacy; Pew Research shows trust in scientists is down sharply, below pre-pandemic levels. This limits progress in modern ag technologies, hinders how we address hunger, contributes to mental health challenges, and removes freedoms across the agrifood system. It has become essential for scientists to understand the diversity of mindsets and connect on a heart level to influence decision-making.
