Los Angeles Brazilian International Film Festival is recognized as the most prestigious Brazilian film festival outside Brazil. Showcasing the best in new independent cinema and providing the movie-loving public with access to some of the most important filmmakers, film industry professionals, and emerging new talent by bringing them together in the heart of the entertainment capital of the world. The Festival features special programs including a Filmmakers Retreat, several panels, intimate Coffee Talks, and much more. Additionally, the Festival screens short films created by Brazilian talents living in the United States. Festival History Since 2008 hundreds of films screened at the Festival have gained critical recognition, received commercial distribution, and reached worldwide audiences eager for fresh perspectives and new voices.
