Community Builders International Network is a group of humanitarian organizations operating in Canada, Haiti, Burundi, DR Congo, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. Currently, the network consists of 34 partnered organizations using four different primary languages. Community Builders was founded in 1983 with a mission to support neighbourhoods experiencing acute social challenges in their quest to find natural pathways to wellness and self-sufficiency. Community Builders values respect for all persons, sustainability, open learning and emergence, and has a vision to increase its efforts globally, keeping its distinctive decentralized structure
