Willing Observers LLC
www.willingobservers.comWilling Observers LLC is an anthropology-based diversity, equity, and inclusion firm, which provides culture-based approaches to DEI and organizational change. As anthropologists we know that inequities are often difficult to change, because they are embedded in culture and appear normative. Our mission is to train individuals to notice inequalities and equip them with tools that enable them to become effective change agents in their workplaces and in society. At Willing Observers LLC, we believe that culture change should be data-driven and should take a "grounds up" approach. We do not simply apply diversity best practices as one-size fits all models across organizations and communities. Rather, we gather data through systemic observation, interviews, focus groups, and unique workshops, including those designed to create workplace ideation. This data gathering and analysis process allows us to understand the real, concrete needs and wants of individuals and employees. In turn, we can create custom solutions that are both locally meaningful and globally impactful. We also facilitate the creation of metrics and benchmarking processes to measure progress. If you are interested in a complimentary discovery call, message us or visit us at www.willingobservers.com. In addition to consulting, at Willing Observers LLC, we train professionals to do diversity, equity, and inclusion work more effectively. Our four-part DEI Accountability Series, for example, trains practitioners on how to create accountability frameworks for DEI, measure DEI progress, and how to identify and address bias in metrics. We also host the Willing Observers Community (under construction) through which we provide recorded virtual trainings, as well as a plethora of resources to guide individuals on their DEI journey. We encourage individuals to use these resources for their own personal growth, in the classroom, and for team development. Follow us or sign up for our newsletter to stay updated.
