MRSC Ltd is an independent maritime consultancy business. It was established in Edinburgh towards the end of 2010 by Captain David McFarlane, with the object of helping ship operating companies (including owners, managers and the mega-yacht sector) reduce their operational risks, improve their safety awareness and establish a proper and effective safety culture. With David's experience in risk, safety, ship management and the ISM Code, he is frequently sought after for work as an expert witness and has had first hand courtroom experience in London and in arbitration in the USA.
