Ruby Graphite Holdings LLC
www.rubygraphite.comRuby Graphite Holdings LLC was formed in 2016 and has since acquired more than 1,865 acres (755 hectares) of mineral rights with known graphite deposits in the Ruby Range mountains of Southwestern Montana near Dillon. The graphite was discovered and originally mined at the turn of the 20th century through WW-II as the Crystal Graphite Mine. Rights to the original 100-acre mining property and mill site, as well as water rights and access road easement have been acquired by Ruby Graphite on favorable terms. The Ruby Graphite deposit is known to hold high-quality “vein” graphite, the rarest form of graphite, as well as disseminated “flake” graphite, which is the more common form. The Exploration Target determined from past mining information indicates potential to host 12 to 102 million tonnes (Mt) of graphite-bearing ore with grades ranging from 3% to 15% graphitic carbon. There is insufficient geologic information available at present to define a mineral resource, and continued exploration will be required to substantiate a formal resource size as appropriate. Although it has had commercial production in the past, the Ruby Graphite property has never been properly explored or even drilled. Recent laboratory analyses on samples acquired from the property show a graphite concentrate can be produced by froth flotation with a grade exceeding 97% carbon and 40% consisting of large through super-jumbo flake size. A Technical Report to substantiate the Exploration Target size has been prepared. Next steps are to conduct geophysical surveys and then drilling to obtain core samples to prove the resource geometry and quality. This will provide the information required to more accurately determine the resource size and value, devise a mining plan and evaluate scoping-level project economics. The owners of Ruby Graphite Holdings LLC, a small, private, early-stage exploration company, are currently seeking investors to fund the initial exploration plans and bring the US's only flake and vein graphite mine to reality.
