Brown Jacket
www.montymitra.comBrown Jacket is not an actual company. In grad school, and for several years after, I wore the same brown jacket so often that my closest friends wouldn't recognize me when I wasn't wearing it. So when I started consulting, I just used it as a name because it was the first thing that stuck in my head. I left my last full-time job due to health reasons (I'm 110% now!) and decided to take a little time to ponder all the things that people ponder when they're hit with some uncomfortable reality. So with some free time, I started doing more standup, improv, writing, performing, and just kept pushing myself way outside of my comfort zone to do things that have been rewarding. It's been fun, and it's been terrifying. In parallel, I've also been consulting on a variety of projects, which has included a range of activities from the analytical (pricing, project management) to the creative (producing engaging video content). I've worked with executives and technical folks to help craft narratives and presentations that resonate with broad audiences. I enjoy making complicated ideas simple to understand and accessible in an engaging way by combining my technical and product background with creative storytelling experience.
