Fourth Wave is a registered NFP with a mission to end poverty in coffee farming community. For the vast majority of the world's 25 million, or so, smallholder farmers, poverty is a daily reality. Economic, environmental and social factors will contribute to an exacerbation of this already major problem in the coming years. It is more important than ever that coffee business, as well as consumers understand the challenges facing the growers of the product they love. Fourth Wave gives coffee business and consumers the opportunity to engage with coffee farming communities in a way that promotes meaningful social change. Through projects focusing on education, nutrition, productivity and quality, Fourth Wave and its supporters will not stop until poverty turns into prosperity in coffee farming communities.
