Established in 2015, the La Trobe Innovation & Entrepreneurship Foundry (LIEF) is an innovation think tank and R & D lab based in Melbourne, Australia. We research, prototype and develop products/services that have a positive impact on the society and the world as a whole. LIEF is engineering lab specialising in innovation, electronics prototyping and development, simulation and modelling, software development and mobile application development, systems engineering technology, research, testing and evaluation, feasibility studies, product development and education. Our team is made up of researchers, academics, industry experts and students who are commercially oriented with a talent for creating successful technology-based products & services. We fuse together the full range of rigorous engineering and scientific disciplines with design and commercial elements required to develop and successfully launch new products/services in to Australian and global markets. LIEF also provides students and young professionals opportunities to work along-side world leading experts.
