In 2010 Velocity purchased substantially all assets of Portola’s Equipment Division. Today, Velocity is owned by an investment group that is comprised of the management team of the former Equipment Division of Portola and the Mistequay Group, Ltd. (Saginaw, MI), a longtime supplier to Portola. Velocity is headquartered in New Castle, Pa.
