Color, energy, and movement are the hallmarks of James McEntee imagery. This is evident whether McEntee is photographing kids discovering the wonders of New York for I Love NY’s latest campaign – or his recent International Ad campaign for Microsoft involving over 30 talent, a multitude of continents and languages.  He picked up my first camera at the age of 12 and I haven't put it down since.  My first commercial assignment was at the age of 17 for the famous magician Harry Blackstone Jr. magic show in Detroit, Michigan. It was my first of many VIP (very important photographer:) access to create my vision for pay. had to make the choice of attending the Air Force or accepting a photography scholarship. McEntee chose photography – a career that, as it turns out, has lead him to spend a considerable amount of time in the air: whether flying to a remote location, shooting from a helicopter, or dangling from a crane to get the perfect shot.
