The Silent Air Taxi is a modern aircraft for up to four passengers with a cruise speed of over 300 km/h and a range of more than 500 km, which is currently being developed in Aachen. It has an innovative box-wing and a unique hydrogen-electric drive. This enables short take-off distances from almost any runway. e.SAT GmbH, based in Aachen, was founded in 2018 as a manufacturer of hydrogen-electric aircraft. The managing directors of e.SAT GmbH are Prof. Dr. Günther Schuh and Prof. Dr. Frank Janser.
