TKHP was set up in Ware, Hertfordshire in 1985 by Kevin Hinds. The principal role of the practice is to produce design solutions in the context of the built environment. The practice’s design philosophy is to produce an architectural aesthetic that in context, form, detail and materials represents, for both ourselves and our clients, the essence of ‘good design’. Our notion of good design and aesthetics is not bound by a particular style or approach, but it is one that embraces variety and appropriateness. Location, environment and many other factors in addition to the client brief influence the form and appearance of a building, and this is demonstrated by the various projects illustrated on this website.
