Children in impoverished communities have been raised believing that poverty is an external condition that happened to them, an unfortunate circumstance completely alien to them. Even if it is “out of their control,” they believe it still gets to control everything about how they will do in life. Sadly, we can’t influence under which conditions children are born… but we can influence the #1 factor that perpetuates poverty… the children’s mentality. We believe that our external reality only gets to change to the extent that our internal reality does. Help us break this poverty cycle! At Beyond Education, we’ve designed our programs entirely to transform children’s lives. As our students learn to set their own goals and discover their purpose, not only will their minds change, but so will their reality.
