www.sea-energia.euThe Company was created in 1992 under the name Malpensa Energia Srl; the name was changed to SEA ENERGIA S.P.A. in the spring of 2011. 1992 - SEA (Società Esercizi Aeroportuali), together with 10 industrial partners, establishes the company Malpensa Energia S.p.A., whose purpose was to build and operate energy generation plants. 1994 - SEA S.p.A. buys the entire share capital; then, in 1995, sells 49% to AEM (Azienda Energetica Milanese), currently named A2A, with which in the same year it signs a subconcession agreement for the construction and operation of the cogeneration plant of the Malpensa 2000 airport. Design on its own behalf, construction, installation, operation and management of energy cogeneration systems, plants and equipment for the supply, production, transformation, transfer and sale of electrical power and of network-based heating and cooling vectors to the airport facilities managed by the institutional concession holder. The Company may also conduct any industrial, commercial, financial, securities and real estate activities related, complementary or useful to achieve the corporate purpose, including the sale of electrical power to third parties in accordance with all applicable laws, as well as thermal vectors exceeding the primary purpose stated above.
