We are a group of five aspiring entrepreneurs who want to make a difference in our society. Our company, Glass Half Full, aims to reduce the size of our landfills by turning waste into a sustainable product. At the same time, our goal is to educate society about the social issues revolving water and sanitation. Using upcycled wood taken from the Urban Repurpose, a non-profit organization based in North Vancouver. We take thrown away furniture and deconstruct it for the raw material. Each coaster comes with a design of our water droplet mascot, Faroos, and a fact about the water and sanitation issues in our world. With our coasters, we hope to spread awareness and make a positive impact on our environment.
