We produce top quality machinery and equipment for the fish-processing industry. For more than 30 years we have specialised in machinery intended for salmon, but in recent years we have expanded to producing machinery and equipment for many fish types such as Barramundi, Tilapia, Trout, Mackerel, Herring, Shrimps as well as different types of flatfish. During the first 5 years, Norbech served as a trading company. In 1990 the company expanded the business creating internal production facilities. In 1998 the company expanded once again moving into new built facilities and expanding the employee work force. Today Norbech counts approx. 25 employees. In 2019 Kurt Bech Christensen acquired Norbech with great ambitions for the further development and growth of the company. To fulfill the growth plans, Uni-Food Technic moved to more than twice as large facilities in Svenstrup. The main activity of Norbech is designing, developing and producing technological equipment for the food industry, especially salmon processing equipment as well as innovative production lines for salmon in particular. The machinery produced is intelligent, fully automatic fish machinery that reduces the need for labor costs, which enables the end users to be competitive in a market where low costs and efficiency are the main keys to success. Uni-Food Technic also produces machinery that requires manual operation. However, all products from Norbech are always made in order to accommodate the demand from the end customer. Uni-Food Technic is considered a competent business partner to great lengths to accommodate the customer's needs and create custom made lines as well as individual machines to fit into existing facilities. 90% of the Norbech production is exported to primarily Norway, Chile, New Zealand, Australia, Scotland and Canada.
