Address is a design show curated and produce by designers for designers. Founded in Vancouver in 2014 by gender-queer furniture maker Kate Duncan after facing discrimination at a trade show; Address is anything but a trade show. It’s an inclusive stage for fashion-forward design and the myriad of folx behind it. This unique platform blurs the lines between profit-led trade shows and exclusive gallery shows to give way to an entirely new approach to showing, seeking and collecting new works by modern makers. Featuring the works of both well-established and up-and-coming designers and makers, Address presents studio based furniture, artwork, textiles, ceramics and slow fashion.
