Rice Straw is a low value waste product which is typically burnt off after the Rice is harvested. Annually over 1 billion tonnes of Rice Straw is produced worldwide. Farmed Carbon is a mobile Rice Straw processing service which can harvest 100 tonnes of Rice Straw per day per unit. This waste product is processed at the Rice farm into $50,000 of Biochar, Hydrogen, Bio-Bitumen, Bio-Pesticides and Bio-Plastic monomers. Processing permanently locks away 150 tonnes of greenhouse gases which would otherwise be released into our atmosphere. 30,000 mobile processing units will be produced over the next 10 years with production plants in China, India, Vietnam, Indonesia and Australia. Units will be operated by a network of 120 master franchisors which support 10,000 franchisees and provide central processing services for products such as Bio-Bitumen and Bio-Plastics. Once scaled Farmed Carbon will permanently sequester 1.5 billion tonnes of greenhouse gases per year, the equivalent of removing 500 million ICE cars from our roads.
