Backwaters Cruising Ltd is developing a new holiday type cruise-and-tour by means of operating its own bespoke river day-cruise vessel the Natalia. Incorporated in May 2017 Backwaters Cruising Ltd has designed and built its own vessel to fit the new model of holiday type. The concept blends the best of land based touring with that of river cruising giving its customers a unique and intimate experience on the rivers, canals and lesser waterways of France which are relatively unexplored. The model is such that it works in conjunction with local suppliers; accommodation, restaurant, attractions and venues generating revenue directly to the local economy. As a result we have been well received by regional tourist boards and have gained their invaluable support in developing out unique itineraries. Backwaters Cruising Ltd has a number of routes to markets including distributing our own departures through our sister company Buzzlines Travel and other agents across the UK. Backwaters Cruising Ltd also charters out either complete itineraries or ship only to tour operators with current partners such as Saga Holidays and Titan Travel. This year we are operating with one vessel and are currently working on plans to build boats 2 and 3 which will also operate on the French waterways.
