CTN is the "Voice of the Community", providing services that foster community use of media tools for the creation and distribution of non-commercial content for public, education and governmental purposes. CTN is a division of Ann Arbor's Communcations unit through the City Administrator's Office. Funding is derived from cable franchise fees. Since 1973, CTN has been providing free producation training and equipment to Ann Arbor Residents and Non-Profits.
