Since our start in 2015, Collective Harvest has provided fresh, sustainably grown produce to the Athens- and Atlanta-area community while helping support local, family-owned farms. We began when three of our member farms-- Diamond Hill Farm, Front Field Farm, and Full Moon Farm-- decided that instead of competing, we would collaborate to run our wholesale and Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs. By pooling together our growing power, we have much greater produce availability. And by combining our resources, we have been able to hire a few full-time employees to run Collective Harvest. That means that we farmers get more time to focus on growing and harvesting crops. In the beginning, we operated out of the Full Moon Farm basement in Winterville and had around 80 CSA members and a handful of wholesale customers. By 2018, we had outgrown our space so we moved to our current headquarters near downtown Athens and added several more farms and over a dozen other local food producers to help us meet demand. This year, we expect to have over 300 CSA members, and continue to grow our wholesale partnerships in the Athens area while reaching out to Atlanta businesses. Our produce is grown by us on our Certified Organic or Certified Naturally Grown farms and we are committed to being honest stewards of this land.
