Aviation Vision Services provides expertise in vision standards to the aviation industry. It is founded and run by Dr Adrian Chorley, previously Optometrist Principal for over 17 years at the UK Civil Aviation Authority Medical Department. Aviation Vision Services offers a remote assessment and advisory service of clinical ophthalmological or ophthalmic reports to Aviation Medical Examiners, applicants for aviation medical certification, pilots and air traffic controllers. Clinical assessments are also offered and include eye examinations to CAA standards, colour vision assessments, post refractive surgery assessments and visual field assessment to CAA requirements. An advisory and clinical service is also available to other industries setting occupational vision requirements.
