HISTORY – CCT Energy Storage is a research, development and design company based in Adelaide, South Australia. The company was established in 2011 to develop a thermal battery for the global renewable energy market. The exciting potential for the technology led to the creation of Climate Change Technologies Pty Ltd in 2011. The first working scale prototype was produced in 2012 and further enhanced at the South Australian workshop in 2014. Prototype development is continuing, in preparation for commercial production in 2019.
