7 Trees For Life is an initiative to engage individuals and corporations and enable them to participate in reforestation and agroforestry projects across the world. Its important that the right tree is planted at the right location and nurtured well so that it grows healthy. A fully grown matured tree provides not only environmental benefits, but also, social and economical benefits throughout the lifetime. We are driven by the simple theory: A human breathes about 9.5 tonnes of air in a year. Oxygen makes up about 23% of that air, and we extract a little over one-third of the oxygen from each breath. That works out to a total of about 740kgs of oxygen per year. This is approximately 7 trees worth.
