Big Block Construction was born out of more than a decade of experience under the Innovative Residential banner. The Big Block team has been a part of developing and managing over 20 multi-unit residential construction projects totalling over 1,500 units and $330 million in construction value. Through that work, the Big Block team helped solve Saskatoon’s affordable housing crisis by mastering efficient building practices using modular construction and developing unique financial assistance programs in partnership with Innovative Residential, the City of Saskatoon, and the National Affordable Housing Corporation.
