JISEA advances its mission of guiding the transformation of the global energy economy by conducting collaborative research and analysis in strategic areas that are of vital interest to our community of stakeholders and aligned with our mission. JISEA papers and publications deliver groundbreaking strategic insights and explain their real-world implications. Our key areas of research are: • Energy Systems Integration and Transformation, • Energy in the Global Water-Food Nexus, and • Advanced Manufacturing, Circular Economy, and Clean Power for Industry. JISEA is operated by the Alliance for Sustainable Energy, LLC, on behalf of its founding partners: U.S. Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory, University of Colorado-Boulder, Colorado School of Mines, Colorado State University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Stanford University.
